His most recent concerto for cello, clarinet, and strings, recently received its Carnegie Hall debut. Other works have been recorded by the Mirecourt trio and many others.
American jazz composer and pianist Paul Schoenfield wrote "Cafe Music" when he was was commissioned by the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and inspired by his turn as house pianist at Murray's steakhouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
